‎If you’ve been using the Solana ecosystem for a while, there’s a good chance you have small amounts of SOL locked in unused token accounts.

‎Every time a token account is created on Solana, a small amount of SOL is reserved as rent. When the account becomes useless or empty, that SOL often just sits there unless you close the account.

‎I recently found a tool called RefundYourSOL (RYS) that helps recover this locked SOL easily.

‎What it does:
‎• Scans your wallet for unused token accounts
‎• Lets you close them safely
‎• Returns the locked SOL back to your wallet

‎Some people recover a surprising amount of SOL from old accounts they forgot about.

‎There are also extra features like staking and community contests, but the main use case is simply recovering SOL that would otherwise sit unused.
