I have $0, my Twitter got banned, and I’m building an AI to kill YNAB because I’m sick of spreadsheet anxiety.

Unpopular opinion: The personal finance industry is toxic.
Apps like YNAB or Mint don’t actually help you build wealth. They monetize your financial anxiety. They force you to categorize every $4 coffee, flash red warnings at you, and make you feel like absolute garbage just for trying to enjoy your weekend. It’s basically a second unpaid job that ruins your mental health.
I got sick of it. I’m naturally lazy, I hate math, and I refuse to feel guilty about my lifestyle.
So, with literally $0 in my bank account and my Twitter account currently banned for god knows why, I locked myself in my room to build the exact opposite: An anti-budgeting app.
It’s called Stensor. It’s the first AI financial coach explicitly designed to be IGNORED.
No spreadsheets. No categorization. Zero guilt. You connect it, drop your financial anxiety at the door, and go enjoy your Friday night. The AI agents act as an autonomous wealth optimizer in the background, making the logical decisions so your “Present Self” doesn’t have to stress about it.
I don’t have VC funding. I don’t have a marketing budget. I can’t even afford video editing software to make a fancy promo. It’s just me, building in public, trying to create something that actually carries the mental load for us.
If you’re tired of financial hustle culture and want an autopilot that lets you be human, I’m letting the first few people test it out.
