How I Got Into Crypto
Don Juan1 min read·Just now--
Where to begin? In the realm of crypto, I had no clue what it even was when I was in high school. I graduated in 2011, and BTC was becoming a huge thing around 2009 — but only for those that knew about it and were willing to take a risk. At the time, I had no idea what Bitcoin, or crypto for that matter, even was.
Fast forward to 2018: after leaving the military, I decided to become a Private Military Contractor overseas. I met many intelligent people in that field, some of whom were into crypto and onboarded me via Dogecoin. Since then, I’ve been part of many projects as both a team member and an investor. I’ve made some pretty good returns and, likewise, lost some money.
Overall, I’d say crypto has a massive upside if you know how to use it. I’m not talking about scamming people; I’m talking about doing real research and figuring out what utility is out there to help maximize profits. So, that’s the short and sweet backstory of how I got started. Thanks for listening.
