Finding My Place Between Design and Technology

I’ve always been drawn to spaces where creativity meets technology. That’s why working as a designer in an IT company focused on cryptocurrency feels like the perfect fit for me. Every day is a little different, and every project feels like a puzzle that needs both imagination and logic to solve.
Designing for crypto is a unique challenge. Unlike traditional apps, the stakes are high — users are entrusting not just their time, but sometimes their money and sensitive information. That means every button, every layout, every visual cue needs to earn trust. I spend a lot of my day in Figma, experimenting with color, space, and interaction. It’s not just about aesthetics — it’s about clarity and confidence.
The Rhythm of a Fast-Moving Industry
Crypto moves fast. Really fast. And if you blink, the tools you’ve been using might already have an update. For me, that’s energizing rather than exhausting. I love the mix of structure and spontaneity. One moment I’m refining the flow of a dashboard, the next I’m discussing new interface ideas with engineers and product managers. Collaboration is key — no designer here works in isolation. Every idea gets challenged, tested, and iterated.
What keeps me going is that sense of momentum. There’s a rhythm to it: design, test, adjust, repeat. And along the way, you notice small victories — like a user completing a transaction without hesitation, or a complex concept feeling intuitive thanks to a simple tweak. Those moments are the ones that make long hours in front of Figma feel worth it.
Learning and Growing Every Day
Even outside work, I’m constantly learning. I read crypto articles, experiment with concepts for side projects, and try to anticipate how people might interact with new platforms. I’ve realized that being a designer in this space isn’t just about visual skills — it’s about curiosity, empathy, and understanding how technology fits into people’s lives.
Sometimes I dive into the technical side, just enough to understand constraints or possibilities. Other times, I explore emerging design trends to see what could help the next product feel approachable and modern. Balancing technology and human experience is endlessly fascinating.
Life Beyond the Screen
Of course, it’s not all Figma and wireframes. I try to step away from the screen regularly — walks, reading, sketching ideas on paper. These moments help me reset and often spark inspiration for work. I also enjoy discussing crypto trends with friends and colleagues; seeing how people outside the office experience technology gives me new perspective.
Why I Love What I Do
For me, working in crypto design isn’t just a job — it’s a way to shape how people interact with emerging technology. It’s about building clarity in a complex space and creating experiences that feel approachable, trustworthy, and engaging. Some days are challenging, some are exhilarating, but all of them are full of learning.
Looking back, I can’t imagine working anywhere else. There’s something thrilling about taking an idea from a concept in Figma to a feature that real people use every day. And in a world that’s moving as fast as crypto, every day feels like an opportunity to push boundaries, explore new ideas, and make an impact.
